ENEFIIN and Ortner Energy Group are entering into a strategic cooperation to promote PV development in Italy with large-scale ground-mounted and rooftop PV plants. The focus will be on the EPC service, with the planning and construction of PV power plants, on a contracting model and on the operation of own plants. There is a clear distribution of roles. Enefiin will source projects in Italy and provide financing partners, while Ortner will be responsible for the entire technical implementation of the project. "Italy represents a location that will play a key role in the energy transition in Europe due to its geographical conditions, in particular its enormous availability of land and optimal irradiation conditions," says Stefan Ortner, Managing Director of Ortner Energy Group.
